New & expanded schools to handle growth.

To help manage our record-breaking growth, the leaders of Van Alstyne ISD have wisely listened to our community and developed a $550,000,000 Growth Management Bond Package to provide new schools and the expansion of existing facilities to house the almost 3,500 new students we expect over the next decade. With the additional space, we can continue and even expand in-demand programs such as honors classes, CTE, STEAM, fine arts, band, career training, and other in-demand offerings.

Secure classrooms for student & teacher safety.

With the passage of the Growth Management Bond Package, the district can continue to provide a safe and secure learning environment where our students and teachers can thrive without worrying about violent crime. Each campus and educational facility will be equipped with state-of-the-art safety and security features, including secure building entrances, to keep dangerous criminals away from our students and teachers.

Additional career training & CTE offerings at high school.

The future success of the Van Alstyne community is closely linked to the success of our schools in producing a well-educated workforce. The Growth Management Bond will fund expansion of instructional space for our CTE and college preparation programs, opening up more career paths and certifications that get our students job-ready or college-ready upon graduation.

Maintain small class sizes for interactive learning.

Small classes are, in every way, the most effective way to teach our kids. Students receive more individual attention from teachers, and classroom behavior is better. By passing the Growth Management Bond, we can build the new schools and instructional space needed to keep up with our rapid growth and guarantee the academic success that comes with more personalized instruction for educators.
